Visual Studio would crash when publish the application, if Publish Location contains nonEnglish characters(like Chinese).

Could you please make PTVS use Project Name to name application file when publishing?

Are you publishing to Windows Azure? Or are you using the "Publish" page in project properties?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by using the project name. Whenever we publish files, we copy them using the same names that they have originally - we don't do any renaming. If you're expecting to get a .exe file, Python doesn't work like that. IronPython has a script called pyc.py (in the Tools\Scripts folder of the install directory) that can do something similar, but we don't use or support it in Visual Studio.

It might actually be "Publish" on the project node - if you create a new profile rather than importing one, there are options there to publish to FTP or file system.
