Hi
   Pyvot is great , but I am having trouble with installation on a new pc. The installation was fine ( VS 2010 )
But At the Python Interactive when I type

import xl

I get the following error

ImportError: No module named XL

Am I doing something dumb. Thanks.

There is a second step - go to the Tools menu and then Python Tools and there'll be a menu that will let you install Pyvot into a particular Python environment. Once you've done this you should be able to import it.

Hi Zooba
           Thanks for your help. Under Python Tools I see
  1. Diagnostic Info
  2. Python 2.7 Interactive
  3. Debug Interactive
and so on. I do not see what a menu to install pyvot into a particular environment. Not sure where I can do that.

Thanks a lot

Hmm... I'm not entirely sure the installation did go fine. Are you certain you installed the VS 2010 version of Pyvot? And have you restarted Visual Studio since then?
