Can't Customize Parenthesis (Braces :P) Matching Color for .py files

Under Tools->Options->Fonts and Colors->Brace Matching

Changes to the Brace Matching color options have no affect when editing *.py files. Other file extensions brace matching colors are correctly displayed.
