c# like #region code folding

It would be very helpful if there's c# like #region code folding.
Python comments are started with # symbol, so there would be
no problem with other python editors if #region/#endregion is used.

Good idea for a feature, if other editors support this we should recognize whatever they do.

This would be great. Code folding of for loops, if statements and the other usual suspects would also be fantastic.

Great work, love this extension!

+1. I would love to see this feature in PyTools

Folding (outlining) loops, if, and etc... inside a functions and classes. You cannot fold anything inside a function, only the function itself can be collapsed.

Second on this. It would be great to fold at least loops, if statements, etc.Its actually quite important also, as for multiple nested loops with long indentations, identifying correct loop level is hard,

If you're watching this issue and not the release pages, we just released 2.2 Beta which includes this feature! Announcement - Download

@Zooba Thanks very much! I am indeed watching this issue and the release page. Our organization IT only allows installation of final build rather than alpha/betas. Any comments on the ETA of the beautiful 2.2? And of course thank you for listening to our voice.

We're going to be supporting VS 2015 with 2.2, so we won't be doing a final release until they have. Hopefully, we'll be releasing simultaneously or very shortly afterwards, but we can't release any earlier (since they could potentially make changes that would break us...)
