After opening a Python project, when moving the mouse over a Python file in the editor, I get this message box:

Une exception a été rencontrée. Cela peut être dû à un problème d'extension.

Thanks! We've seen this problem before and it should be resolved in 2.1 RC, which we just released.

It doesn't work. We're discussing it here : https://pytools.codeplex.com/discussions/560822 or we may continue in this thread, sorry to have created two.

It looks like you've got a range of errors going on that aren't all related to PTVS, but they are the same error.

You might want to try repairing your VS installation (and you may have to reinstall the updates again after that, sorry - or maybe you can run Repair for the update, which should be quicker and achieve the same effect). This is almost certainly not a programming error on our part, though possibly it's a bug in VS itself or maybe the installer.

We can do some more thorough diagnosis, but that will take time and the "fix" is likely to be something that a Repair does anyway.

OK, everything is now working fine.

The problem was that my Visual Studio Express ISO file was corrupted. Somehow it installed but it was not working properly.

Thanks for your support, and sorry this was such a simple solution...
