Do you see the wizard appear? Visual Studio is responsible for the empty folder, but the wizard should delete it immediately.

We have made some fixes to this wizard since Beta, and it's been working fine for us internally, so maybe give it a go on RC (only a week or so away now) and see whether we've fixed it.

I just installed PTVS 2.0 Beta VS 2010 on my VS 2010 Ultimate today. The same issue. Nothing happens when selecting "New -> Project... ->Pyrhon->From existing Python code" except for an empty folder being created. No wizard. If I do "New -> Project from existing code" wizard, Python is not in the dropdwon list.

Where is RC? I can't find it from the download page.

We're aiming to release RC on Monday.
