Enthought canopy 1.0.0 not automatically detected

description

canopy-1.0.0-win-32.msi is the free distribution, and it installs per-user. The interpreter is not detected by PTVS.

This is a recommended distro download from our installation page
https://pytools.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=PTVS%20Installation

so we should make sure it is detected automatically.

I installed PTVS 2.0 with Canopy using "Python Express 2012" mode and I defined the installation path to use Canopy interpreter. But when I run anything I receive the following error:

The Python REPL process has exited
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft\Python Tools for Visual Studio\2.0\visualstudio_py_repl.py", line 25, in <module>

we should have dedicated doc pages for Canopy & ActiveState.
