More detailed and customized syntax highlighting

description

I would like to have possibility to customize how my code is highlighted. Now this feature is limited, I can only edit Python comma, dot, grouping and operator, which makes code a little bit cloudy and hard to read. Would be great if everyone can completely customize Python code highlighting up to their preferences. (parameters, variables, functions, classes, comments, self statement, brackets, parenthesis, strings, numbers, decorators etc...) See attachment for better understanding.

There are also options that are not language specific, such as Operator and Strings. These apply to all languages in Visual Studio, and we won't be replacing them with Python-specific options, but they can be a little hard to find.

As for highlighting names differently based on type, we're tracking that feature as issue 527.
