Start debugging django project without launching browser?

Aug 22, 2014 at 9:19 PM
I've setup a django project. After clicking Start Debugging it launches a new tab in my browser. This is really annoying, most of the time I already have a browser tab open to the page I'm debugging. Is there a way to start debugging without launching the browser?

I'm using Pytools 2.1 RC, Python 2.7, Django 1.6, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Thanks for the suggestions! This is a feature we already have in our other product (NTVS) where we made it a simple checkbox in the project properties.

I agree it would be very useful to have in PTVS. I've created a work item for it.

If someone thinks of a workaround to avoid starting the browser, we'll post it here or in the work item.
