Service Pack 1 not detected when installing PTVSintegrated

Windows 7 laptop confirmed sp1 is installed
HP dv6 series
Visual studio 2013 installed(afraid to uninstall until this error is fixed)

What version of Visual Studio do you have installed? I assume it is one of the Express editions, since it is also not detected by the installer.

Also, according to that log, the installer thinks you are running Windows Vista ("Windows v6.0 (Build 6000: Service Pack 0)"). Have you perhaps modified some compatibility settings at some point? If you right-click the installer, select Properties and then Compatibility you may be able to disable any options that are selected.

Interestingly, no compatability mode was set. I set it into compatability mode for Windows 7, installation failed again. I changed it back and tried again and it worked.
