web2py & PTVS

A year ago there was a thread about this
but i think it should be given another try.

web2py is a very cool python web framework with an active community.
One of it's interesting features is that you don't need to install it (unlike django). You just download the source (or windows binaries) and run the python script web2py.py.

It can be used with some python IDE's. So i wonder about the best way to use it with PTVS.
I will start testing ASAP but I just wanted to wake the interest of other people on this.
Web2py is really great for Rapid Web development and it would be very cool if one could develop with VS, and publish web2py apps on azzure.

Thanks simplectix - we are looking at various frameworks & hope to have some of them up & running in upcoming releases. the 1st step is to get them into the windows azure gallery + basic ptvs initial project support. after that based on demand we can look at fancier stuff like debugging, etc.

looking fwd to your hearing about your experiment.
