PTVS 2.0 Alpha VS 2012.msi Installer Error "missing Visual Studio 2012" when installed

Hi, I am trying to use PTVS 2.0 Alpha VS 2012.msi, but, when installing, it says
Visual Studio 2012 must be installed: The free integrated shell can be downloaded at URL XYZ
But I have Visual Studio Installed (VS 2012 Express).

How can I get this to work?? :)

Thanks! :)

hansaaa, see the installation page in documentation tab. Express editions aren't pluggable, so you need to take an additional step:

Ok, thanks! ;) Running PTVS 2.0 Beta (includes the VS2013 Preview Shell). Seems ok, although, so far, it is hanging for quite a while, at a step where it is Installing The Visual Studio Shell (2013, Preview). Will let it run, and, hope, it shall complete!

Thanks! :)

Ok, so, it installed, and, seems, fine!

However, when, I open a .py-module, can I just debug/run it, directly (as in, e.g., IDLE, just by "run"->"run module"!?

I did check, which says to right-click (on the project), and take the "debug" option. But Can I also run, if this is not a whole project, and, instead, just, a little py file!?

Ah. I found "Debug As Script". This seems to work, however, again, with some isses:

I have a file "", that calls methods in "".

I run autograder, as script. If I set a breakpoint, in autograder, it behaves, as expected. However, if I set a breakpoint in the file referenced, by autograder, "", that breakpoint does not get hit. Any ideas? Thanks! ;)
