I'm using VS2010. I'd like to build a WPF python project with PTVS and use expression blend(4) to develop the XAML. First impression is that this seems not to be supported by blend as it only has C# and VB project types...  As sorta expected, trying to open a PTVS project from Blend yielded a "project type not supported" (.pyproj).

I'm looking for leads to ways to get PTVS and Expression Blend4 to play nicely... any hints appreciated.

I've read that Expression blend will be part of VS2012; Could that lead this combo cooperating better with VS2012?

One possible trick which was suggested in "IronPython in Action" is to write all of your UI using a C# project.  So you can load that into the designer (either w/ VS or Blend) and then just use that to edit the UI.  Then you can have your Python code load the C# DLL and subclass all of the classes and implement the logic for your app.  It won't quite be seamless, but it would let you use Blend.
