VS 11 Support

What is the plan for supporting VS 11? Are you going to wait until RTM, or is there integration with the Beta in progress?

If you can build from source, I believe that there is already (incomplete) VS11 support work in the tree.

Yep, we have a DEV11 conditional constant which changes how we build a few things...  And our BuildRelease.ps1 script will build both Dev10 and Dev11 versions (using the Dev10 tool chain), but we don't regularly test on the Dev11 builds to see that they still work.

Ultimately we will support Dev11, not quite sure what the timing is yet.  And longer term there's some new features we'll want to take advantage of over time.

Can you post somewhere alpha version for VS11?

An alpha version would be great, considering the version I built gets about halfway through before telling me

An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.ReplWindow,version="0.7.4100.0",culture="neutral",publicKeyToken="B03F5F7F11D50A3A",processorArchitecture="MSIL"'. The signature or catalog could not be verified or is not valid.

For running private builds you need to disable skip verification of the assemblies (you might also need to restart the Windows installer service which can cache these).  In the Release\Product\Setup\PythonToolsInstaller there are some .reg keys for adding and removing these depending on if you're on a 64-bit or 32-bit OS.

I'll have to check again, maybe the Windows installer service had cached the entries, since I made sure to merge the 64-bit .reg file.
